Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has declared that if Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is guilty of savagely beating three police officers then he “needs to pay” for his crimes.

Kenny spoke with CBS Philly Thursday night and was extremely critical of McCoy’s alleged actions that put two police officers in the hospital with broken ribs and a fractured skull. (VIDEO: LeSean McCoy: I Made A Mistake)

“If [McCoy] wants to stomp our officers and pound our officers, then he needs to pay the price and answer for his actions,” Kenney told CBS Philly. (VIDEO: Brutal Video Allegedly Shows NFL Star Severely Beating Police Officers)

He also added, “In addition to punches being thrown, there were some kicks that looked as if they were being leveled and that’s unconscionable and it’s cowardly.”
