Amy Lindsay, the one-time softcore porn actress and star of a Ted Cruz campaign ad, says that if she could star in an erotic film with any of the 2016 presidential candidates, it would “have to be Donald Trump.”
In a wide-ranging interview with The Daily Caller, Lindsay also reacted to the Cruz campaign taking down her ad, and gave her thoughts on Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton. (RELATED: Ted Cruz’s Latest Ad Features A Porn Star)
After the Cruz campaign yanked the advertisment over Lindsay’s past work in late-night adult television, the actress says that she has ultimately “come out on the better end of the stick.” She says she’s received several mainstream film job offers and some “interesting acting considerations,” including becoming a political pundit for the 2016 race.
“One thing that’s kind of been scaring me in this county is no one is allowed to say anything without getting attacked or whatever. I’m like, what is happening to free speech,” Lindsay said. “Of course, Ted Cruz has every right to do whatever he wants to do, and I have every right to come back and tell them what I think about it.” (RELATED: Porn Star In Pulled Cruz Ad: ‘Sometimes It’s Just Better To Take It Down’ [VIDEO])
The actress says she’s not ready to endorse anyone quite yet. “I’m sure people will start to put together where my head is, but you know, there’s still a ways to go in this campaign and we’ll see what happens,” Lindsay said.
Regarding Bush’s candidacy, Lindsay said, “You know, I haven’t paid much attention to it, who has?”
“I was really expecting a lot more, as I’m sure everybody was from Jeb Bush and his campaign,” Lindsay insisted. “I can’t really make a statement on [the Bush campaign] because I don’t know where he’s at. And unfortunately, he’s not, I shouldn’t even say unfortunately, but he’s just not one of the main people that I think people are paying attention to and it’s very, very, very interesting.”
Lindsay is no fan of Hillary Clinton: “I’ll just say it. I do not like Hillary Clinton, I have never been a Clinton fan at all, really either one of them.”
She also went after former President Bill Clinton for his sexual history. “Bill Clinton had real sex with real people, it destroyed real lives,” she said, noting that her own sex career only involved simulated acts on-screen. (RELATED: Bill Clinton’s Alleged Former Mistress: ‘Hillary Is A Lesbian’)
Her animosity toward Hillary stems in part from Clinton defense of an accused child rapist in 1975 and her role in destroying the accuser’s reputation. Clinton “started calling women liars when she was 27 years old that have been raped,” Lindsay claimed.
“All of her stuff that women has been involved in to me is just disgraceful, absolutely disgraceful and you know, in light of all of this, the emails and our national security and all of this other stuff, the fact that she’s running for president blows my mind,” Lindsay said. She added: “I don’t like [Clinton], not a fan. You know and hey, I’m a woman and I’m sitting here talking about being a woman and you know, sexuality shouldn’t matter.””I would love [to have a woman president,] but she’s not it and I’m not just going to vote for someone just because of that.”

Asked if there was one 2016 candidate she’d partner up with for an erotic film, Lindsay laughed and replied, “It would have to be Donald Trump, come on. You know, he’s one that would be the most fun, would be cool with it, you know, but that’s not going to happen.”
