Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao posted a Bible verse on Instagram Thursday in support of killing gays and covering them in blood.

The now deleted post, which can be seen at TMZ Sports, is a verse from Leviticus that reads, “If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death, their blood will be on their own heads.” (VIDEO: Guess Which Congressman Just Said Gays Are ‘Worse Than Animals’)

The post had more than 18,000 likes before being deleted according to the Philippines news agency ABS-CBN.

Pacquiao, who also serves as a congressman in the Philippines, appears to be doubling down on his anti-gay sentiments. He recently said that gays were worse than animals and the remarks costs him a massive endorsement deal with Nike.
