The Legends of Pittsburgh Cruise, carrying stars of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, rescued a boat full of Cuban migrants at sea last week.

Steelers linebacker James Harrison captured the rescue on camera and posted some of the pictures on his Instagram. “We just stopped for this boat with 16 people in the middle of the ocean,” he wrote in the caption. “Waiting for coast guard now.”

“16ppl, wild!!!” he added in a second post.

The four-day cruise was heading to Mexico from Miami when the crew spotted the migrants and alerted the coast guard. They were reportedly turned over to Mexican immigration officials. Carnival spokeswoman Jennifer de la Cruz confirmed the rescue to Sky News.

The Carnival Cruise Line owned the cruise, which carried sports, music and art stars from Pittsburgh, including Harrison and former Steelers running back Rocky Bleier. A former Pittsburgh Pirates catcher and former Pittsburgh Penguins player were also on board.
