Donald Trump told Sean Hannity Monday night that his immigration plan is negotiable, though that building a border wall isn’t.

Trump also tore into recent media reports that The New York Times is withholding audio of him saying that he might not follow through his mass deportation plan.

He said the Times is “the most dishonest media group.”

“We had a board meeting. It was off-the-record. Suddenly they leak it, it’s all over the place,” Trump told Hannity

Hannity pushed him and said, “they said it’s negotiable on the wall.”

“By the way, it is negotiable,” Trump responded. “Things are negotiable, I’ll be honest with you. I’ll make the wall two feet shorter, or something. Everything is negotiable. … Building it? Not negotiable.”

“Would it be negotiable about the 11 million?” asked Hannity, regarding Trump’s deportation proposal. Adding, “maybe let some people stay if they register in a period of time?”

Trump responded, “I would say this. Look, I’ve always said, we have some good people over here and they are going to go out, but we will work out some system that’s fair,” Trump said. “But we either have a country or we don’t. We need a border — we need a wall.”

The New York real estate developer also responded to criticism that he won’t be able to get Mexico to pay for the wall.

“These politicians come up they say, ‘you don’t really mean Mexico is going to pay?’ I’m a business guy. I’ve done unbelievable deals. You know they talk about this deal, that deal. I’ve done hundreds of deals that are so good, nobody ever wants to talk about the great deals,” said Trump.

He added, “If I’m wrong about this, you are all going to come back and we’re going to have another meeting and I’m going to apologize to you.”
