In the wake of mixed results on Super Tuesday, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders doubled down on his call for a “political revolution.”
Speaking to a raucous who kept chanting “We want Bernie,” Sanders stuck to his traditional talking points criticizing billionaires who “buy elections,” reforming the criminal justice system, and “transforming” the United States energy system to green energy. Early results show Sanders won his home state of Vermont but lost Georgia and other states to Hillary Clinton. (RELATED: Super Tuesday 2016 Republican Results)
Sanders argued that despite losing states on Super Tuesday to Clinton, he will still “win many hundreds of delegates.”
Later as part of his celebration, Sanders sang “This Land Is Your Land.”
