Former MLB star Curt Schilling said that Hillary Clinton has “done nothing” to help the country and should go to jail for her handling of classified information on her private email server as secretary of state.
The former Boston Red Sox pitcher spoke with Kansas City’s 610 AM The Drive on Tuesday.
“I don’t care what her titles are. She’s done nothing,” Schilling said. “She has done absolutely nothing to further the success of the middle class, the success of this country. She jumps on the backs of the people who she wants to be dependent on government. She needs these people to be dependent on her, to need her.”
“I hope she does [go to prison],” he said. “If I’m gonna believe, and I’m not sure I would have any reason not to believe, that she gave classified information on hundreds if not thousands of emails on a public server, and after what happened to General [David] Petraeus, she should buried under a jail somewhere.”
Schilling, though, did not endorse Republican front-runner Donald Trump
“I’m tired of the ‘we’re going to make America great again.'” I get it, but what does that mean?” He also said that Trump’s candidacy shows that voters are giving “a giant middle finger to the establishment.”
