Seventh grader Ben Goodell has put together a science project proving the New England Patriots are innocent in the “Deflategate” scandal.

Goodell, who shares the same last name as NFL commissioner Roger Goodell but is unrelated to the sports bureaucrat, commissioned the science project for his school St. Pius V in Lynn, Massachusetts.

He took a regulation NFL ball and tested in various conditions, and when he tested the PSI of the ball it showed lower PSI which the seventh grader feels is proof Brady is innocent according to CBS Boston. (RELATED: Trump Stands Up To The NFL On Deflategate)

“Every single time I did this test the PSI dropped at least 2 PSI. That means it was scientifically proven that Tom Brady didn’t deflate the footballs, and it was just the weather conditions,” he told CBS Boston.

Ben claims his motivation is to clear the name of the Patriots who lost two draft picks and were fined a million dollars over Deflategate. Quarterback Tom Brady was also suspended but that decision was reversed in court.

“I don’t think it was fair for them to just say he’s a cheater,” he said. (RELATED: REPORT: NFL Owners Pressured Roger Goodell To ‘Go Hard On’ Brady’s Deflategate Punishment)

Brady and Patriots owner Robert Kraft might want to give Goodell a call because his science was so good that he won the top prize at his school.
