A fight broke out among five women after two of the ladies were loudly playing music on a Spirit Airlines flight traveling from Baltimore to Los Angeles, The Los Angeles Times reports.
The two women were reportedly intoxicated and were blasting music from a personal sound system. When a passenger asked them directly to turn down the volume, the women proceeded to play the music even louder, LAX police said.
At that point, a passenger requested that the music be turned down. The women responded, “What are you going to do?” Spirit Airlines spokesperson Paul Berry told the Times.
“Then to provoke the other customer they were holding up their boom box in the air, waving it around,” said Berry.
This caused a second group of customers to approach the women, which is when the five-person fight broke out. Of course, several passengers captured video of the melee.
The LAX police were contacted once the plane landed and the five women involved in the brawl were removed from the plane.
The FBI was contacted to investigate the incident, but no charges were filed.
