Hillary Clinton has won the Florida Democratic Primary, a much expected victory for the former secretary of state.

With 84 percent of the vote reported, Clinton leads with 64.4 percent, Sen. Bernie Sanders follows with 33.2 percent.

In the lead-up to Tuesday’s election, Clinton spent a large amount of time campaigning in the Sunshine State. Polls had her leading Sen. Bernie Sanders by double-digits.

Florida has the largest population of people over the age of 65, and Hillary has dominated so far this race with older voters.

This is yet another win for Hillary in the South as she has been relying on strong minority support throughout the election.

Her confidence in winning the state was evident with her planning to host a speech Tuesday night in West Palm Beach, Fla.

On the Democratic side, Florida has 214 delegates which are awarded proportionally.
