Yes, you wisenheimers, Canada does have soldiers. Our neighbors to the north are our partners in the fight against ISIS, actually. Which is weird, because I was under the impression that we’d beaten ISIS already, but… Anyway! Canada does have soldiers, is the point. And yesterday, somebody tried to stab two of them at a recruiting station.
A 27-year-old man is under arrest after two members of the Canadian Armed Forces were attacked with a knife at a forces recruiting office in North York on Monday afternoon.
Around 2:45 p.m., a man walked into the recruiting detachment at 4900 Yonge St. carrying a knife and attacked a Canadian Armed Forces officer working at the front desk, National Defence said in a statement. He suffered non-life threatening injuries. A second Armed Forces member suffered a minor injury while confining the man, and both victims were taken to hospital.
Why would anybody do something like that? Why would a Canadian do something like that? Was he upset about the price of back bacon? Did the Leafs lose? Did his local Tim Hortons close down?

“Some heard him say, ‘Praise Allah’ and others heard ‘Allah’ or ‘Aly,’” a police source told the Sun.
This is a lie, and I know it’s a lie because such a thing simply cannot happen. As everyone should know by now, “Islam” means “Peace.” What’s peaceful about stabbing people? That’s the opposite of peace. Therefore, the people who claim they heard a knife-wielding attacker say “Praise Allah” are lying.
This attack happened in spite of the attacker’s religion, not because of it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a racist, and you don’t have to listen to racists.
See? It’s easy to make excuses. That’s why so many people do it.
