House Speaker Paul Ryan said he thinks Michigan State will prevail over Oregon during this years NCAA tournament in a video titled “Bracketology” Thursday.

“Being speaker of the House means that, each and every day, you have to make a lot of tough decisions,” his office said in a statement. “Filling out a bracket for the men’s NCAA basketball tournament is not one of those, but Speaker Ryan is not one to sit on the sidelines.”

As far as Cinderella teams go, Ryan has Witchita State, a number 11 seed, making it to the Sweet 16, and Green Bay beating Arizona State in the first round.

“I think KU, those guys are hot,” he said. “They are very deep, they haven’t been losing at all, they are going to make it to the Final Four. I’m a big Oklahoma fan, Oklahoma is good, Hield is a great point guard, they’re going to make it to the Final Four.”

University of Wisconsin will make it to the Elite Eight in Ryan’s bracket, beating Notre Dame. But he anticipates them losing to University of Kentucky which he has matched up against MSU in the Final Four.

“Valentine’s probably the best player in the country,” he said. “I’m a Big Ten fan and I think Michigan State is probably on their way. That’s basically how my brackets work.”
