[crscore]Mark Kirk[/crscore] told radio host Big John Howell Friday morning that Republicans need to stop obstructing and hold a vote on President Obama’s Supreme Court Nominee, Merrick Garland.

“Many of us believe that the Republicans should in fact do the job that they were elected to do,” Howell said to Kirk. “And at least offer a vote up on Judge Garland.”

“The Constitution says the president should nominate,” added Kirk. “We should go through the process the Constitution has already laid out.”

“Just man up and cast a vote,” he continued. “The tough thing about these senatorial jobs is you get yes or no votes. Your whole job is to either say yes or no, and explain why.”
