A letter containing a mysterious white powder was delivered to the apartment of Donald Trump’s son Eric Thursday evening.

According to ABC News, the letter was delivered to Trump’s 14th-floor apartment at the Trump Parc East building in New York and “said something to the effect of: Either Donald Trump drops out of the race or next time this will be real.”

Trump’s wife, Laura, reportedly opened the envelope and the white powder — which authorities do not believe to be hazardous — fell onto the floor.

The NYPD is currently investigating the letter’s origins.

“At approximately 7:15PM, the NYPD responded to a residential building at 100 Central Park South to investigate a report of a suspicious letter received by a tenant,” the department said in a statement to The Daily Caller. “The letter has been removed and is being examined by law enforcement authorities. No injuries have been reported in connection with this incident.”
