“I’m a people person,” Fabio said during an interview with Page Six. “I love people. I would definitely go for the people. In politics you don’t go that far when you just go for the people.”

When asked if he would ever run for office, he replied, “You never know.”

After he became a citizen, Fabio said it was “one of the best days of his life” because “the United States is the greatest country on Earth.”

“I’ve been in love with this country since I was 14 years old. Yesterday was like getting married.”

He added that he agrees with Donald Trump’s stance on immigration.

“I think the [election] is going to be the most incredible TV you’ve ever seen in your life — nobody is going to watch the reality shows anymore,” he said. “Donald Trump speaks his mind. If you like it or you don’t like it, at least you know where he stands.”

“If you want to come to this country, the American people are the greatest people on earth and will welcome you with open arms. But you have to go through the system — laws are made to be respected.” (RELATED: Pink Just Blew Kim Kardashian Away With This Sobering Message)
