Ben Carson braved the hostile waters of ABC’s “The View” on Thursday and said one of the reasons he endorsed Donald Trump was seeing how well he raised his children.
“You have to look at his family,” Carson said. “I always say one of the ways that you measure a person is looking at their children. And how do their children act.”
Host Joy Behar interjected, “But one is a big-game hunter. I’m not thrilled with that.”
Carson replied, “Well, I mean, that’s your privilege, but the fact of the matter is, you know, they have been raised very well. They’re very respectful. And you know, I look at a lot of kids who come from very wealthy families, and I am appalled at what I see.”
Behar was referring to Donald Trump Jr., who is a hunter.
