The guy had zip-ties and a walkie-talkie. Sounds like he planned to do more than just steal stuff, and he may have had an accomplice.
Go ahead, laugh at these people. Call them all the names you want. They have the right to live in peace, and they have the right to defend themselves. Taking away their guns wouldn’t make anyone safer except the creep who attacked them.
And if you’re a crook who’s thinking about breaking into people’s homes: First, learn to read.
