Kristina Schake, deputy communications director for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, says, “We consider that a very positive step” for the former secretary of state to be interviewed by the Department of Justice.

In an interview on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on Monday, Schake said that Clinton “wants everyone who worked for her to answer every question and she herself volunteered way back in August to meet with the Department of Justice and answer all of their questions at that time and is eager to do it herself.” (RELATED: Report: Feds Moving Forward With Plan To Interview Hillary In Email Investigation)

Asked about the interviews that the Justice Department will be conducting with Clinton and key aides, Schake said, “We consider that a very positive step. As you know, the secretary has wanted everyone to fully participate in this review.”

According to Schake, Clinton “strongly believes that once all the facts of this come out that everyone will see they did nothing wrong with this and she looks forward to the conclusion of that report.”

“But she has said repeatedly through this process there should be no interference and everyone should participate including herself and looks forward to the report coming out. Because she knows it will prove nothing was done that was inappropriate in this case.”
