In an interview with the Daily Mail published Monday, the former supermodel and reality star revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago. (RELATED: Here’s How Much Janice Dickinson Got Paid To Say Bill Cosby Raped Her On TV)
The 61-year-old said her doctor found a “pea sized” lump in her breast during a routine examination. She is in the early stage of ductal carcinoma in situ, “a reportedly common type of cancer that starts in the milk ducts.”
“Just two weeks ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, it’s hard for me to say this, but I have been diagnosed with breast cancer,” Dickinson said.
“It’s still quite shocking. Today I got very scared. I just get very scared and it hit me. But I am not gonna let that define me, the fear. I’m going to get through this, I’ll be just fine kiddo.”
“I had to find the courage I possess as a woman, that we all have as women and then I had to put my chin up and my shoulders back and take it moment by moment.”
