A video has surfaced online apparently showing star football recruit Jeffery Simmons beating a defenseless woman on the ground.
Simmons, who has committed to play for Mississippi State, can be seen repeatedly striking a woman who is laying on the ground as another woman comes and joins Simmons in the brutal attack. (RELATED: Former Football Star Facing Charges Again For Allegedly Beating Another Woman)

Simmons posted an apology for his actions on Facebook claiming responsibility for his actions.

According to WCBI news the police are aware of the situation but haven’t released any statements or comments. The Mississippi State athletic department has also been silent so far in the investigation.
