Columbus Blue Jackets center Boone Jenner took a shot directly to the face Monday night against the Washington Capitals.
The Blue Jackets were working the puck in the Capitals’ zone setting up a scoring opportunity. Unfortunately for Jenner he skated in front of the net at the exact same moment his teammate ripped off a shot that hit directly in the face. Perhaps the most impressive part of that series is that Jenner never laid on the ice to get medical attention and instead just got up and left.
