Megyn Kelly said she has received multiple death threats since her feud with Donald Trump began last fall.
During an interview with Charlie Rose on “CBS Sunday Morning,” the 45-year-old Fox News host said there have been threats made against her life. (RELATED: People Are Losing Their Minds Over The Way Megyn Kelly Wore Her Hair Last Night)
“It’s not so much what he [Trump] writes or says, it’s how he gins up anger among so many,” Kelly said. “So it manifests in my life in several ways.”
“It’s not that I’m worried someone’s actually going to come shoot me down, but I do worry someone’s going to try to hurt me in the presence of my children.”
[dcquiz] In August, Kelly asked the Republican front-runner if he thought his temperament was presidential after he called women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.”
“What I was trying to get at was the weaknesses of each of these candidates, if they were to become the general election candidate,” Kelly said Sunday. “Charlie, this was coming whether I showcased it in the debate or not.”
