#NotAllMuslims Murder Yet Another Bangladeshi Writer In The Street

Remember: It’s not their fault for murdering people in the name of their religion. It’s our fault for noticing.

Sugam Pokharel, Ivan Watson, and Yuli Yang, CNN:

Machete-wielding attackers struck in the capital of Bangladesh Wednesday night, killing 26-year-old secular writer Nazimuddin Samad.

Samad, described by Bangladesh police as a masters student at Jagannath University, is the sixth secularist writer or publisher to have been murdered in Dhaka in the last 16 months. Police called the murder a pre-planned attack.

You realize why this keeps happening, don’t you? Look at that word again: secularist. That means these six writers and publishers didn’t believe in Islam and didn’t keep quiet about it. They were murdered for it, and there will be more murders.

So there’s your answer. If you don’t want to get butchered in the street by machete-wielding zealots, all you have to do is convert to their religion. Or, at the very least, don’t criticize them. To be on the safe side, don’t say anything that could possibly offend them. Bend yourself to their whims.

Simple enough, right?

Not that fear of death is the only available method of persuasion. Fear of social ostracization works increasingly well too. As you may recall, the neighbors of the San Bernardino terrorists said they noticed the couple had been behaving strangely. But the neighbors didn’t say anything because they didn’t want to seem racist. “See Something, Say Something” is becoming more trouble than it’s worth, thanks to the efforts of people like CAIR, Clock Kid’s dad, the #illridewithyou idiots, and other dishonest political operatives.

If a neighbor or co-worker or casual acquaintance who just happens to be Muslim — NTTAWWT — starts stockpiling weapons and screaming at you about jihad, keep your trap shut. Sure, you might be turning a blind eye to terrorism, but you don’t want people to think you read the Daily Caller, do you?

P.S. Christians kill people too, etc.
