Barack Obama claims “that there is no political influence” in the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state.

“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace asked Obama if he could “guarantee” that the Justice Department will follow the “evidence” and that Clinton will “not be in any way protected” and Obama said, “I can guarantee that.”  (RELATED: Klein: Comey And ‘A Lot Of Other FBI Agents’ Will Resign If Hillary Is Not Indicted [VIDEO])

“I can guarantee that not because I give Attorney General Lynch a directive, that is institutionally how we have always operated. I do not talk to the Attorney General about pending investigations. I do not talk to FBI directors about pending investigations. We have a strict line and always have maintained it,” Obama claimed. (VIDEO: Hillary STILL Won’t Use The Word ‘Investigation’ To Describe FBI’s Email Probe)

Wallace then said, “Just to button this up–”

“I guarantee it. I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department or the FBI, not just in this case but in any case. Full stop. Period,” Obama said.

Wallace continued to press Obama confirming that Clinton will be “treated no differently” and the current president said, “Guaranteed, full stop. Nobody gets treated differently when it comes to the Justice Department because nobody is above the law.” (RELATED: Hillary: Seeing Me In Handcuffs Is A ‘Fantasy’ [VIDEO])

“Even if she ends up as the Democratic nomination?” Wallace asked.

“How many times do I have to say it, Chris?” Obama asked rhetorically. “Guaranteed.”
