Hillary Clinton minion David Brock told a secret cabal of liberal donors on Monday that he and his team of opposition researchers have enough derogatory information on Donald Trump to “knock Trump Tower down to the sub-basement.”
Brock, who spoke at an annual gathering of the Democracy Alliance in Santa Monica, Calif., told members of the group that Trump “was not properly vetted by his rivals — or by the press,” Politico reports.
Brock, a former Clinton rival who has become one of their most loyal henchmen, further claimed that his research organizations — which include American Bridge and Media Matters — have withheld the information during the primaries so as not to help Trump opponents who would fare better against Hillary Clinton in the general election.
“We sat on it all so as not to help the candidates who might have been stronger general election candidates,” read Brock’s prepared remarks, which his group American Bridge provided to Politico.
Democracy Alliance donors, which include billionaires such as George Soros and Tom Steyer, have donated millions to Brock’s research outfits.
Brock, who also chairs the pro-Clinton super PAC Correct the Record, previewed some of his anti-Trump information to the liberal moneymen.
“American Bridge is building a database of all the regular people — from unpaid vendors to harassed tenants to defrauded students at Trump University — who got screwed over for one reason only,” he said, according to Politico.
He also expressed confidence that Clinton will win the election in November and that Democrats will perform well in down ballot elections.
