A new book claims there is still bad blood between the Obamas and the Clintons.
In “First Women: The Grace and Power of America’s Modern First Ladies,” Kate Brower writes that a former adviser to Barack Obama said the 2008 election left “deep and lasting scars on both the Clinton and Obama camps, and they are still shockingly fresh.”
“When Michelle Obama views the Clintons, I don’t want to say she’s looking down her nose at them — but she kind of is,” the adviser told Brower.
The adviser also said that Michelle’s relationship with Hillary is “fraught with hurt feelings and resentment” and that she initially hoped Joe Biden would run against Clinton. (RELATED: The Two Reasons Why Michelle Obama Says She’ll Never Run For President)
The book also claims that the First Lady once called the White House “a really nice prison” and said she couldn’t wait to leave.
“It’s hell,” she reportedly said. “I can’t stand it!” (RELATED: Former White House Staffer Spills The Beans On The ‘Paranoid’ Clintons)
