Hillary Clinton does not know a lick of Spanish, but that didn’t stop her from pretending she does during a campaign stop at a senior center in East Harlem on Friday.
Clinton was pining for votes from a group of Latino and black seniors at the Corsi Senior Center when a woman in the audience is heard yelling out something in Spanish.
The strictly English-speaking Clinton responded with her famous cackle and gave a thumbs up to the woman, as if she could understand what was being said.
Some reporters asserted on social media that the woman shouted “I’m voting for Bernie” to Clinton, which would make the scene all the more embarrassing for the Democratic front-runner. The Daily Caller is unable to independently verify what the woman in the audience said.
