On Tuesday’s broadcast of “Morning Joe,” MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson told host Mika Brzezinski that [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore]’s campaign expects to pick up more than half of the Pennsylvania GOP delegates even if he finishes in third place in the state primary on April 26.

“It’s very telling that Ted Cruz tonight is not in here in Brooklyn,” explained Jackson. “He’s over in Pennsylvania. He’ll be in Philly actually for his watch party tonight to see the results come in.”

“It’s indicative of where he and his campaign see this race going, to Pennsylvania, where they are looking to make a play for these unbound delegates,” she continued. “Even if they come in a distant third, a top campaign aide told me they believe they’ll pick up more than half the delegates there.”

“They are looking at more than 30.”
