Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen would be replaced if he is elected, although he praised her for keeping interest rates low.

“I think she’s done a serviceable job,” he told Fortune in an interview published Tuesday night. “I don’t want to comment on reappointment, but I would be more inclined to put other people in.”

Trump said while he thinks the Fed has done a decent job on certain fronts, “there are lots of good things that could be done that aren’t being done, amazingly,” adding he would back legislation limiting the central bank’s power.

He went on to say he thinks hiking rates to “around 3 percent of 4 percent” would have a crippling effect on the economy, adding he would attempt to use the low interest rates to refinance America’s debt.

In an interview with The Hill last October, Trump accused Yellen of politicizing monetary policy to protect President Barack Obama’s reputation.

“She’s keeping the economy going, barely,” he said. “The reason they’re keeping the interest rate down is Obama doesn’t want to have a recession-slash-depression during his administration.”
