An 11-year-old Alabama boy shot a home intruder in the leg and said he cried like a “little baby.”
Chris Gaither was alone in his home Wednesday when an intruder allegedly broke in and began threatening to kill him. So Gaither got a nine-millimeter and put a bullet in the intruder’s leg, WPTV reports.
Gaither said he gave the intruder fair warning.
“I told him I was going to kill him with a gun if he didn’t get out of my house,” Gaither told WVTM13.
The man left the home carrying a hamper ,but Gaither still fired 12 full-metal jacket bullets. The last of the shots pierced a hamper the man was carrying and hit him in the leg.
Gaither had a message for the intruder afterward.
“I hope you learn your lesson coming to this house trying to steal stuff.”
