Porn stars admit they aren’t typically interested in politics, but say the 2016 election has drawn them in and that the majority are feeling the love for Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.
In the series “Ask a Porn Star, performers were divided between the Republican front-runner and on the Democratic side for Sanders. However, none of the women interviewed say they will be voting for Hillary Clinton.
“I believe [Donald Trump] is somebody that will actually take charge,” Honey Kenna James said. “I want a businessman instead of a politician in the office. I’ve seen where the politicians have gotten us and it’s not a good place.”
“He just says it how it is and he gets things done,” said Franziska Facella.
“He’s a good businessman,” said Anna Belle Peaks. But she added that she is still not sure whether Trump is “pro-porn.”
On the other side are the Sanders supporters. “Bernie Sanders all the way,” said Veruca James.
“Everybody is supporting Bernie Sanders,” said Amarna Miller. “At least everybody I respect.”
Trump’s popularity with the adult entertainment performers has grown over the last few months. At the Adult Video News Expo in February, the overwhelming majority of porn stars who were interviewed were voting for Sanders.
