Larry Wilmore, host of Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show,” was the comedian at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. His routined was not well received by the audience, which remained silent for long periods during his set. Wilmore took shots many targets — CNN, Wolf Blitzer, Don Lemon, Fox News, Republicans, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump — but his last line shocked the room.
After praising President Obama as the first black president, Wilmore closed with, “Yo, Barry, you did it, my nigga.”
ABC News originally posted the video to Twitter, then deleted it. CBS posted the video but ended it before the n-word:
