Actress Helen Mirren finds the race for the White House fascinating and said it’s “full of drama.”

On Saturday at an event before the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Mirren was asked by Variety what she thought about the presidential election.

“Politics in America are always very exciting,” Mirren said. “It’s very watchable, full of drama. I’m observing it. ”

“I don’t vote in America,” she added. “I’m not an American citizen. So I can watch with fascination.”

The actress also indirectly responded to a question about what she thought about the Republican candidate Donald Trump. “I’m a believer of the American democratic system.”

During the WHCD, President Obama even mentioned Mirren while taking jabs at members of the press and various politicians.

“Helen Mirren is here tonight,” Obama said. “I don’t even have a joke here. I just think Helen Mirren is awesome.”
