In his victory speech on Tuesday, Donald Trump reflected on Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] dropping out of the race and he said that the Texas senator was “one hell of a competitor.”
Speaking from Trump Tower in New York City, Trump said, “I’ve had some moments where it was not looking so good and it’s not a great feeling and so I understand how Ted feels and Heidi and their whole beautiful family. Trump said, “I have to tell you that I have met some of the most incredible competitors that I have ever competed against right here on the Republican Party.”
“You know, we started off with that 17 number and just so you understand Ted Cruz, I don’t know if he likes me or if he doesn’t like me, but he is one hell of a competitor. He is a tough, smart guy and he has got an amazing future,” Trump claimed.
