Police are hunting for three men who jumped through a McDonald’s drive-thru window in southeast D.C. brandishing pistols and robbing the store.
Police released the video, asking for assistance in identifying and locating the suspects captured in the surveillance footage, offering $10,000 for information leading to their arrest. The robbery took place at a McDonald’s on I Street in southeast D.C..
The men are seen pulling up to the McDonald’s on Saturday at roughly 3;15 a.m., slightly overshooting the drive-thru window before reversing their car. Three suspects then burst through the drive-thru window, grabbing an employee and pushing them aside as they force themselves inside. A pistol can be seen in the hand of one of the suspects. The suspects pushed the McDonald’s employee aside, grabbing cash from the register before feeling the scene, running through a backdoor at the fast-food restaurant.
The store manager said despite the frightening ordeal, their employees went unharmed. The suspects were wearing heavy coats and sweatshirts and drove an unidentified white SUV.
