Ozzy Osbourne has finally broken his silence after reports surfaced that he and Sharon Osbourne have split.

In a statement Monday, the 67-year-old assured his fans that it had nothing to do with drugs or alcohol. (RELATED: Ozzy And Sharon Osbourne Split After 33 Years Of Marriage)
“I have been sober for three and a quarter years,” Ozzy told E! News. “I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate.”
The couple reportedly ended their marriage after 33 years because Sharon found out that he was having an affair with his 45-year-old hairstylist.

In 2013, Sharon left him temporarily because of his drug and alcohol addictions.
“Everybody knows he’s been struggling with this his entire life and I never knew that he was using prescription drugs,” Sharon said in 2013. “I knew he was drinking occasionally, but I didn’t realize to the extent.”
“It’s a disease that not only hurts the person that has the disease, but it hurts the family. It hurts people that love you and we’re dealing with it. We’ve dealt with worse and we will deal with it and this too shall pass.
