MSNBC Falsely Accuses Trump Of Saying US Has A ‘Muslim Problem’ [VIDEO]

Appearing on “Fox and Friends,” presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump suggested he’d consider appointing former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani to a commission designed to address the issue of radical Islamic terrorism.

But MSNBC portrayed Trump’s comments as if he was talking about all Muslims.

“We have a president who won’t even use the term ‘radical Islamic terrorism,'” Trump said.

“I’m thinking about setting up a commission, perhaps headed by Rudy Giuliani, to take a serious look at this problem. But this is a worldwide problem and he have to be smart,” Trump concluded.

MSNBC’s headline blared, “Trump Floats Giuliani to Handle Muslim ‘Problem.'”

The lede in MSNBC’s story reads: “In an interview with Fox News Wednesday, Donald Trump suggested there could be a position for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani: Leading a commission to care of the Islamic terrorism ‘problem.'”

They repeated the smear on Twitter, before changing the headline to “Trump Might Have a Role for Giuliani.”
