Chelsea Handler is prepared to leave the country if Donald Trump becomes president because she has already purchased a home in another country.

On “Live with Kelly and Michael” Wednesday, the comedian said she isn’t making idle threats and has taken steps in case she has to flee the country, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“I did buy a house in another country just in case, so all of these people that threaten to leave the country and then don’t, I will leave the country,” she said.

Handler joked that after Barack Obama she would probably just end it all if there’s a Trump presidency.

“After Barack Obama, I’m just going to blow my head up,” Handler said.

She agreed with other critics when she said that Trump never thought he would get this far in the presidential election and is not really interested in the job.

“I don’t think he was really ready to take the job,” she added. “He just loves attention and he loves to talk about himself. Now I think he’s thinking oh, whoa, we better get this under control.”

“I mean he can’t possibly be really trying to be elected to become president,” she continued. “That doesn’t make any sense.”
