Macklemore — whose real name is Ben Haggerty — posted a photo of him with Barack Obama on Twitter after his visit Thursday.

“Honored to be at White House with MTV to talk to POTUS about opioid addiction,” Macklemore tweeted. “Really excited for this project.”

Back in 2009, Macklemore tweeted that Bush knocked down “the towers.”

“9-11…Bush knocked down the towers,” he tweeted then.

The lyrics are repeatedly from a 2005 Immortal Technique track in which the rapper sings, “Bush knocked down the towers.”

Macklemore, who has had two stints in rehab, will host a documentary this fall about opioid addiction.
