Donald Trump blasted ABC’s George Stephanopoulos for his relationship with the Clintons during a tough interview on “Good Morning America” Friday about the presumptive Republican nominee’s tax returns.

Confronted by Stephanopoulos, who was also Bill Clinton’s White House spokesman and policy adviser, Trump said, “I know she’s a good friends of yours and I know you worked for ’em and didn’t reveal it.”

Stephanopoulos has also given $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation. (RELATED: ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Failed To Disclose $75K Clinton Foundation Donation)

In the interview, Trump said, “I fight very hard to pay as little tax as possible and I’ve said that for the last two years, I fight very hard because this country wastes our money. They take our tax money and throw it down the drain.”

“They spend $4 trillion in the Middle East and we can’t fix a road or a bridge and I fight very hard. I consider it an expense because, frankly, our country doesn’t know what they’re doing with our money or tax money and that’s part of the problem. So I fight very hard to pay as little tax as possible.”

“It’s none of your business,” Trump claimed. “You’ll see it when I release but I fight very hard to pay as little tax as possible.”

Clearly frustrated with Trump, Stephanopoulos said, “You know, we’ve talked about this several times over the last several years. I first asked about this in 2011 and you said you would release your tax returns then — you were thinking of running for president — when president Obama releases his birth certificate. He did. Then you said when Secretary Clinton released her emails. She has turned over all mails in her possession –”

Trump replied, “She didn’t turn over all, there’s plenty missing. I read yesterday were there were a lot of emails missing. I know she’s a good friends of yours and I know you worked for ’em and didn’t reveal it but you know, she did not turn over her emails. There are a lot of e-mails missing.”

Stephanopoulos replied, “There were emails from her staffers missing, she turned over the emails she has.”

“They’re missing all over the place. The whole thing is a scam. There are emails missing all over the place,” Trump responded.

“You said then that you were just going through all of the returns and you will release them now you’re throwing up the audit,” Stephanopoulos replied.

Trump retorted, “I never said that at all. I said I will release them upon the completion of the audit like anybody else. I was interviewed last night or the other night by Greta Van Susteren who is a lawyer. She said I happen to agree with you. Until the audit is complete you shouldn’t release them.”
