Another day. Another demand for a pointless apology.

On Monday, the National Jewish Democratic Council, demanded an apology from Breitbart News, which published a story by David Horowitz calling editor Bill Kristol a “Republican spoiler” and a “renegade Jew.”

notsorry

Kristol is anti-Donald Trump and supports the idea of a third-party candidate.

“While we disagree deeply with Bill Kristol on many issues, there is no question that Breitbart’s attack on Mr. Kristol as a ‘Renegade Jew’ is completely unacceptable,” they wrote in a statement realeased Monday afternoon. “The author of the piece, David Horowitz, specifically chose to include ‘Renegade Jew’ in the post’s headline and should know better. We share the widespread and growing disappointment – including by the Anti-Defamation League – in Breitbart’s inappropriate and offensive headline and we believe that more must be done. Mr. Horowitz must apologize immediately and help ensure that these sort of attacks must not be allowed to become the new normal. Andrew Breitbart, z”l, would have been deeply ashamed.”

Who are they to say what the late Andrew Breitbart would feel about this? Let the man rest in peace.

When asked why the group finds the phrase so offensive, publicist Kate Ray of Bluelight Strategies did not return an email request for comment from The Mirror.

The group may be waiting a long time for an apology. Like forever.

In a follow-up story, Horowitz says there will be no apology. He bragged about the attention his story received and insinuated that maybe he deserves an apology since the “firestorm” created by his story attracted “illiterate and unjust” attacks on him and Breitbart News. He said some neoconservatives have even called him names.

Called him names? Is Horowitz a big baby?

Horowitz writes that Hillary Clinton and her top aide, Huma Abedin, are preparing a “second Holocaust” in the Middle East which they will then bring to the United States.

(WTF? I can hardly wait.)

Correction: In a previous version of this story I wrote that the quote from the Democratic Council was “mangled” at the end. A reader kindly informed me that the letters are actually symbols to honor the dead.
