If you were to go to Field Supply’s website, you would notice a great deal right at the top. Browning long-sleeves and hoodies are up to 76 percent off. That’s awesome! Browning is obviously known for its guns and fishing gear, and its shirts are the perfect attire for outdoor activities.
When you click on the link to the sale, however, you’ll notice things getting a little weird. Field Supply confronts you with a rhetorical question: “Lose your shirt?” This is followed by their helpful answer: “No worries. Browning has your back, starting 10 bucks.”
I don’t know about you, but I am not in the habit of losing my shirt. And even if I did, I would probably just get another one from my closet rather than order a whole new one online.
Then again, maybe not. There is something appealing about this sale. The tone is quite humorous even if nonsensical at first glance. After the headline, Field Supply explains why we should get a Browning shirt:
Oh yeah brother! Quality Browning graphic long-sleeves & hoodies you’ll love at fire-sale prices. It’s time for the gun show. Which way’s the beach? Spill yourself into one of these comfy and utterly awesome tops and show the ladeez which direction the beach is. At these prices I’d back up the truck and load up on savings.
Jeez. They don’t even know how to spell “ladies”! Plus, who wears long-sleeves and hoodies to the beach? It doesn’t make any sense at all. But it has me thinking.
Then I notice the kicker. The URL slug taunts me — hiding up there above Field Supply’s boast of “$3.99 Flat-Rate Shipping (excludes oversized items).” fieldsupply.com/bangin-browning-hoodies-and-shirts-betcha-cant-buy-just-one.html. Yep. “Banging Browning Hoodies And Shirts Betcha Can’t Buy Just One.”
That’s a direct challenge. In the slug! This sale has engaged me like no other. And here I am writing about it now.
They have me. Hook, line and sinker. Especially given the prices on these shirts. Make sure you check them out. I know the title says that “Browning has your back, starting 10 bucks,” but some stuff is even cheaper, like this normally $40 crew neck:

There are dozens of shirts and sweatshirts on sale here, which makes it hard to keep track of all the good deals contained within this one sale. It’s like a fire sale, where everything ends up ridiculously cheap. The most expensive item is this now-$110 quarter-zip soft shell:
