Florida Sen. [crscore]Marco Rubio[/crscore] went on a late-night rant against the media’s use of unnamed sources Monday, saying that “people often claim to know more than they really do because they enjoy status of being perceived as ‘in the know.'”

A recent Washington Post story by Chris Cillizza, entitled “5 people who are never going to be Donald Trump’s vice president,” cited “conversations … with people close to him.” Cillizza wrote that Rubio “is sort of betwixt and between when it comes to his next move.”

Rubio reacted to the story by saying that the anonymous sources “just make it up” when it comes to knowing what he is thinking

“As for future in politics,” Rubio wrote, “well it’s nearly impossible for someone not in office to ever become a successful candidate for President.Right?”
