Johnny Depp channeled his inner Donald Trump on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” and explained how he learned to speak like the presidential candidate.
On Friday, Depp told Ellen on her show that it was difficult to learn how to speak like Trump for the biopic he did about the candidate for “The Art of the Deal: The Movie” by Funny or Die productions.
“I just thought it sounded like fun and I figured I could suss out how he speaks,”he said. “It was difficult. He speaks real weird.”
The actor then started speaking in his Trump character’s voice. “I can do it sometimes,” he said. “It won’t be sensational. I have built a paper-mache wall, Mexico, costs $17.99. Fabulous.”
Recently, the actor spoke out about Trump and suggested that the candidate would be the last president of America, adding “it just won’t work after that.”
