Wrestling legend Glenn “Kane” Jacobs is considering running for mayor of Knox County, Tenn., in 2018.

The 25-year-old WWE veteran told WBIR 10 News that he loves living in East Tennessee and “that’s the only reason [he] would consider getting into any sort of government.”

Jacobs’ political philosophy is simple: “the smaller the better.”

“Government should stay out of the way and let free enterprise do what it does best.”

Like presumptive Republican nominee, Jacobs would bring an outside perspective to politics.

“I think at this point, the fact that someone doesn’t have a lot of political experience is a plus,” he told WBIR. “We’re seeing that in the presidential election. People are tired of business as usual, they’re tired of politicians.”
