Dr. Ben Carson told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Tuesday that Republicans lost the presidential elections in 2008 and 2012 because their nominees lacked “the fight.”

“When we look at the last two election cycles, the people that we have put up simply have not had the fight in them that Donald Trump has,” the former Republican presidential candidate stated. “You have to recognize that Hillary is going to come with all the dirt that’s possible, and you need someone that’s going to fight fire with fire.”
“I think it’s the right time for Donald Trump.”
Carson added that he thinks Trump wants “more than just to get elected.”
“I think he truly wants to fix this country.”
