Baylor University head football coach Art Briles has reportedly been fired as the school is embroiled in controversy over the handling of sexual violence claims against football players.

ESPN reporter Brett McMurphy broke the news on Twitter announcing that Briles and Baylor were parting ways.

ESPN broke a huge story detailing the alleged levels of corruption to cover up for football players accused of violence against women, including sexual assault.

Reports have been swirling that Baylor president Ken Starr would also be fired, but no decision has officially been made yet.

It would appear by all accounts that Baylor’s troubles are only just beginning and are far from over.
