Canadian ambassador to Ireland Kevin Vickers tackled a protester at a remembrance ceremony for the British soldiers that died during the Irish rebellion in the spring of 1916, RTE News reports.

The ceremony was going well until a man began running forward to disrupt the service. The ambassador was the first to react. Vickers grabbed the man by the shoulders and proceeded to pull him away from the scene. Following his removal from the service, the protester was arrested.

This isn’t the first time Vickers has been in the right place at the right time. In October 2014, Vickers shot and killed a terrorist that had shot a soldier in the Canadian Parliament.

Vickers was reportedly not injured in the altercation with the protester.
