NARAL Pro-Choice America referred to Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin as “Rob Johnson” in a radio attack ad aired Wednesday.

The ad, which was replaced with a corrected version, went after the senator for his stance on waiting until after the election to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left after the death of late Justice Antonin Scalia.

Freudian slip,” said James Owens, states communications director for NARAL Pro-Choice America told the Journal Sentinel. “Guess it was just on our mind since Sen. Johnson has been so focused on trying to rob women of their reproductive freedom and rob Wisconsin taxpayers by refusing to do his job and fill the Supreme Court vacancy.”

Top Republicans in the upper chamber have defended their decision not to hold a hearing on President Barack Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, saying they should give the American people a say in the decision by waiting until there is a new president in the White House.

NARAL Pro-Choice is one of the six dark-money groups associated with former Sen. Russ Feingold – who is running for his old seat this election cycle – which have spent more than $2 million on attack ads against Johnson  in 2015.
