Text messages exchanged between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s assistant back up claims that Depp abused her during their marriage.

A source sent screenshots of the texts to Entertainment Tonight, and throughout the conversation, Heard tells Stephen Deuters she doesn’t know if she can stay with Depp because of his constant abuse. (RELATED: More Photos Of Amber Heard’s Bruised Face Surface — These Are AWFUL)
“When I told him he kicked you, he cried,” Deuters wrote. “It was disgusting. And he knows it.”
“Obviously he has no idea what he did or the extent that he did it. If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he’d be appalled,” Heard replied. “I’m sad that he doesn’t have a better way to really know the severity of his actions yesterday.”

Deuters said Depp didn’t remember what happened.
“He’s a little lost boy,” he said. “And needs all the help he can get. He is so very sorry, as he should be.”
Last week, Heard filed for divorce from Depp after 15 months of marriage. A judge granted her a restraining order against Depp after she provided photos of her bruised face.
